Gail has always been drawn to children's ministry. As a teen she received training as a Sunday school teacher and has been teaching kids since the late 70's in Sunday school, VBS, and Bible clubs. Those experiences led her to start Kids 4 Christ in 2002. Gail has been married since 1980, has three children and three grandsons. She attends First Baptist LaFayette and is a certified Montessori teacher.

Since accepting Christ in 1968, Gordon has taught many adult and children's Sunday school classes. He currently serves as an elder for First Presbyterian PCA of Summerville. He has been a pharmacist at Floyd Medical Center since 1978 and enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Dr. Clark, a CPA and counselor on staff at Covington Theological Seminary, has been serving non-profit ministries in a financial capacity for more than a quarter-century. She currently served on the Scenic City Women's Network board of directors and as treasurer for Hamilton County Bible in the schools. She has a doctorate degree in ministry, teaches Sunday School at First Baptist Church LaFayette, and has her own marriage and premarital counseling ministry.

Raised and educated in Chattanooga, Gray has lived in Chattooga County, GA for over two decades. He is a former educator with a business background and is an Addictions Counselor for Georgia Department of Corrections. He also serves as Director of Mission Aid and as an elder for First Presbyterian PCA (Summerville). He is married to Donnita and has two daughters.

Summer has been a volunteer at K4C since 2010. She is a graduate of LaFayette HS and Northwestern Technical College, where she attained an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy. Summer works at Shepherd Hills as a PRN when she is needed, still allowing her the time to homeschool her kids. She lives in the LaFayette area with her husband Josh and their 3 children. She attends First Baptist Church of LaFayette.

Kris has been part of K4C since the very beginning, serving as a volunteer from 2002 to 2007. He served as K4C Administrator from 2007 to 2011 and was named a Director in 2008, adding to the board his experience with purchasing, office management, marketing, technology, and customer service. He and wife Katie are certified foster parents and have three sons.

Life-long LaFayette resident Karen Mason became a Christian at age 14. She worked in the banking industry for 18 years and is currently employed by Walker County Department of Family & Children Services. Karen is married to Scott and has one daughter. She is a member of Naomi Baptist Church. Karen joined K4C as a volunteer in 2002 and has served on the board since its foundation.

Deon Phillips is a life-long resident of NW Georgia and is a graduate of Ringgold HS. After accepting Christ in 1992 he led or participated in many local and foreign mission works and served in youth ministry for 12 years. In 2002, Deon co-founded non-profit Here I am, Inc. and continues to serve as Board Chair there. Deon closed his 19-year-old home repair business in 2006 to serve full-time at The Care Mission. Deon has been married to Kendra since 1986 and has four children and two grand children.
