Kids 4 Christ is an independent non-profit organization supported by churches and individuals from all over Northwest Georgia. K4C is dedicated to making a positive impact on LaFayette by bringing hope to the community's at-risk children and their families. That hope is brought by meeting both spiritual and physical needs while demonstrating Christ's love to the children through Biblical teaching and Christian example.

Kids 4 Christ began in June 2002 as a temporary vacation Bible school-style program for children living in the community of West LaFayette. It was not intended to last more than a few months, but after several weeks everyone involved saw the need for a permanent housing project children's ministry in LaFayette. Classes never stopped, and God blessed K4C, the volunteer workers, and the children who participated each week. Now what began as a five week summer activity has grown into a permanent nonprofit organization providing children with Bible classes, after school programs, mentoring, and other activities [ activity info ]

Jesus Christ called all of His followers to reach out to children, the poor, the outcast, and the disadvantaged - regardless of what means were needed to reach them. Kids 4 Christ is not sunday school, VBS, or children's church - it is an unconventional ministry that puts that call into action, using new methods to reach new generations with the timeless Gospel truth.

Kids 4 Christ is an independent organization, supported entirely through individuals who feel led to give of their time or money. While K4C does work with many churches and other organizations in the LaFayette area, no one church or specific group provides a majority of the organization's support. K4C encourages individuals, churches, and businesses to pray about helping Kids 4 Christ reach its financial and volunteer goals. [ get involved ]

K4C Ministries, Inc., the parent organization of Kids 4 Christ, is legally incorporated as a charity in the state of Georgia and has been recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit by the IRS. K4C is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors which delegates day to day operations of the program to Administrator Gail Marks.
